FOR YOU TO NOTE

You can also use your Christmas-tree sponge to decorate plain wrapping paper.

Here’s how

STEP 1 Spread drop sheet on work surface. Spray inside of pot with pot sealer. STEP 2 Run a strip of painter’s tape just below pot collar, then use a brush to paint collar white.

STEP 3 Use a felt pen to draw Christmas tree onto kitchen sponge.

STEP 4 Using Stanley knife, carefully cut out tree shape, leaving scourer section of sponge intact.

STEP 5 Fill plastic plate with paint, dab sponge into it, and blot onto a piece of paper to remove excess.

STEP 6 Press sponge onto pot, using a gentle rocking motion to transfer paint. Repeat process to add additional tree shapes.
