Design your own dome art. Choose figurines to suit the dome size, then create your scene with moss, mini trees and animals, and anything else you like!

Gather your supplies

• Moss runner

• Glass dome with base • Bottlebrush trees

• LED bud lights • Pebbles

• Reindeer and doe figurines • Artificial moss

• Washi tape

• Metallic cord

Marker pen; scissors; glue dots

Here’s how

STEP 1 Place moss runner on base, put dome on top and trace around it. Cut out. Or, if dome base has an inner tray, cut moss to fit.

STEP 2 Pull backing off runner so it sits flatter. Put on dome base.

STEP 3 Centre largest tree on base. Drape bud lights over tree. Add smaller tree and pebbles.

STEP 4 Arrange reindeer and doe in front of trees. Tear pieces of artificial moss and position around animals and pebbles.

STEP 5 Cut 60mm lengths of washi tape. Lay first piece right side down and centre cord on top. Fold over tape. Repeat with 3mm spaces between tape to make bunting up to 200mm long. Snip tape ends into triangles. Secure bunting in glass dome with glue dots. Put dome on base.
