-

• Kraft card, 12 x 12in

• We R Memory Keepers Pillow Box Punch Board (with scoring tool)

• Double-sided tape

• Ribbon

• Paper craft embellishments

NOTES: 1 You can make these little gift boxes in a flash and, what’s even better, there’s no skill required. All the work is done by the pillow box punch board, which is available for purchase from bhgshop.com.au. 2 You can make 2 pillow gift boxes from 1 sheet of card.

Here’s how

STEP 1 Trim the card to measure 15.2 x 15.2cm. STEP 2 Sliding card under the punch at the upper end of the board, align left edge of paper to start line of punch board then press to punch a curve in the card.

STEP 3 Using the scoring tool, follow the curve of the punch board and score a curved line on the card. Then, score the vertical line that is indicated on the board.

STEP 4 Shift card to the left so curve is snug against the board’s curved nook. Punch and score another vertical line.

STEP 5 Shift card left to nook again, then punch and score the curve line.

STEP 6 Flip the card over and repeat Steps 2–5 for the opposite end of the card.

STEP 7 Insert the middle curve of the card into the slot at the bottom of the punch board. Punch to create a thumb notch. Repeat for the opposite end of the card.

STEP 8 Use the scoring tool to crease all straight score lines. Use your fingers to gently crease the curved score lines.

STEP 9 Fold to assemble the box, using double-sided tape to fix the outer side of the box to the short tab inside the box.

STEP 10 Fold the notch down at 1 end of the box. Then fold the corresponding tab on top. Fill the pillow parcels with goodies before closing them up at the other end. Decorate with ribbon and other crafty embellishments, as desired.
