Belt SANDING

This is the most powerful sanding tool. It uses a reinforced belt that runs on a continuous loop around rollers on the machine. It is ideal for heavy-duty tasks such as smoothing rough timber and removing old coatings off flat surfaces. To use, start the machine off the work and let it reach full speed. Bring it down flat onto the timber and run it back and forth across the timber, going with the grain. Don’t let it sit in any one spot for any length of time or you will put a gouge in the work.
