POMPOM CLOCK

Pompom finished sizes: 6cm and 3.5cm

Gather your supplies

• Yarn • Clock-making kit and batteries • Clock base • Mounting tape

• Tiger Grip glue

Here’s how

STEP 1 Make 32 x 6cm and 13 x 3.5cm pompoms in various colours.

STEP 2 Wrap mechanism with yarn.

STEP 3 Tape mechanism in centre of clock base and attach hands.

STEP 4 Glue pompoms in place. Leave glue to dry. Hang clock.

POMPOM SANDALS

Pompom finished size: 8cm

Gather your supplies

• Raffia • Sandals • Tiger Grip glue

Here’s how

STEP 1 Make 2 or 4 pompoms. STEP 2 Glue 1 or 2 pompoms in place on sandals. Leave to dry.

CUSHION REVAMP

Pompom finished sizes: 10cm and 3.5cm

• Yarn • Needle and thread • Cushion

Here’s how

STEP 1 Make desired pompoms. STEP 2 Thread a needle and sew small pompoms on cushion front or large pompoms to cushion corners.

POMPOM BAG HANGER

Pompom finished sizes: 10cm and 6cm

• Yarn • Clutch bag

Here’s how

STEP 1 Make one 10cm and three 6cm pompoms in various colours, leaving long tails.

STEP 2 Plait pompoms tails together and attach plait to bag.

RAFFIA POMPOM BASKET

Pompom finished size: 8cm

Gather your supplies

• Purple and yellow raffia • Woven basket

Here’s how

STEP 1 Make 4 purple and 2 yellow pompoms, leaving long tails.

STEP 2 Using the tails, tie the pompoms to basket front.

BEACH BAG POMPOMS

Pompom finished size: 10cm

Gather your supplies

• Yarn • Beach bag

Here’s how

STEP 1 Make 3 pompoms, leaving long tails.

STEP 2 Use the tails to sew the pompoms to the bag.

CAKE RAINBOW BUNTING

Pompom finished size: 4cm

Gather your supplies

• Yarn and yarn needle

• Metallic twine • Bamboo skewers

Here’s how

STEP 1 Make a purple, navy, orange, blue, green, yellow and red pompom. STEP 2 Thread the pompoms onto the twine using yarn needle.

STEP 3 Tie twine onto skewers.

GIFT-WRAPPING POMPOMS

Pompom finished sizes: 10cm and 8cm

• Yarn • Brown paper

Here’s how

STEP 1 Make as many pompoms as you need in various colours. STEP 2 Wrap gifts in brown paper and tie pompoms onto lengths of yarn.

POMPOM EARRINGS

Pompom finished sizes: 3.5cm and 4cm.

Here’s how

STEP 1 Make 2 matching pompoms for each earring pair, leaving long tails. STEP 2 Use the tails to attach the pompoms to earring findings.

POMPOM BOOKMARK

Pompom finished sizes: 4cm, 5.5cm and 6cm

Gather your supplies

• Yarn and yarn needle • Metallic and plain twine • Card

• Eyelet pliers and eyelet

Here’s how

STEP 1 Make desired pompoms. STEP 2 Cut card to bookmark size and punch metal eyelet in centre top. STEP 3 Thread pompom tail through eyelet and tie off. Or, thread pompom onto twine using yarn needle, then thread through eyelet and tie off.
