New re­search has shown that eat­ing eggs re­duces ‘hanger’, the emo­tive re­sponse to hunger. A diet filled with nu­tri­ent-rich pro­tein foods such as eggs min­imises hunger, which in turn re­duces rage and ir­ri­tabil­ity. Di­eti­tian Sharon Na­toli says eat­ing a diet of highly pro­cessed, fried and sug­ary foods is di­rectly linked to a low mood. So stay happy and eat eggs!
