Set sail on Cunard’s first-ever gardening cruise with BHG
Glorious Cunard’s first ever garden cruise sets sail on March 1, 2021 from Sydney. The exciting seven-night voyage will bring together a fine group of Australia’s top gardening experts, including those from Better Homes and Gardens, who’ll share their gardening secrets and expert advice. You’ll also enjoy the fantastic features of Cunard’s beautiful Queen Elizabeth, with more than 10 restaurants and cafes, three swimming pools, a ballroom and theatre spanning three decks.
SAIL WITH THE EXPERTS
Cruising on board will also be a host of leading gardening personalities, including Graham Ross, Angus Stewart and Indira Naidoo, as well as Better Homes and Gardens editor-inchief Julia Zaetta, editor Dora Papas, garden editor Jenny Dillon and food editor Elle Vernon, who will be sharing their gardening knowledge, as well as their cooking and craft skills. Other speakers will include native beekeeper Sarah Hamilton and horticulturalist and organic gardening advocate Steve Falcioni.
With presentations, workshops, panel discussions, audience Q&A sessions and special events such as a dinner with Graham Ross, you will have the chance to learn the latest garden trends, from indoor plants and balcony gardening to organic pest control, lawn care, vegie crops, rose gardening, composting, beekeeping and growing native plants. Even the ship’s entertainment program will come with a green twist for you, with gardening trivia, craft classes and lessons in cooking food you will grow yourself.
Better Homes and Gardens editorin-chief Julia Zaetta says she can’t wait. “I took my first-ever cruise on Queen Elizabeth a few years ago and I am so excited to be going back on board.
