WHAT TO KNOW

Tiles come in different materials, shapes, sizes and colours. Keep these points in mind:

HOW THEY’RE SOLD

Some come as bags of individual pieces; others come as sheets of identical tiles. Either type works for these projects, but pay a„ention to thickness. If working with sheets, pull the tiles off the backing or cut into strips and other shapes.

MATERIAL TYPES

Mosaic tiles come in glass, ceramic, stone or porcelain. You’ll need different adhesives and cu„ers for each.
