NTING BULBS

• Plant bulbs in late autumn.

• Dig over soil so it’s friable.

• Dig hole with trowel twice as deep as bulb is tall, about 10-20cm.

• Place bulb in hole with tip pointing up.

• Cover with soil, press down firmly and water in.

• Stems will emerge in 2-3 weeks.

GROW IN POTS

If you’re growing in a container and you want a dense impact, create a hole in the potting mix about 30cm wide, plant 4-6 bulbs, tips up, replace potting mix and water well. Make sure the container has drainage holes.
