Clusters of vibrant, deep orange or rich scarlet flowers pop out of the dense, so green foliage through summer and autumn. It’s a vigorous scrambler, so will grow in any direction – keep it under control with slick use of your secateurs. It loves full sun and grows anywhere, but thrives in the tropics, where it can reach more than 10m, so restrain its growth to your garden if you’re in the deep north or it will become a nuisance.
