10 JADE VINE

This spectacular vine produces large, pendulous clusters up to 1m long of turquoise-coloured, crab-claw-like flowers in spring and summer. A vigorous tropical rainforest grower, it naturally climbs trees but you can grow over a pergola in tropical and subtropical regions. It’s still rare in Australia but more specialist nurseries are supplying it.
