BEFORE YOU START

-

1. If you don’t have a Cricut machine, visit cricut.com/ millions-of-masks and download the free pa ern for the Adult small/medium face mask. Cut a card template of Pa ern 1 only.

2. If you have a Cricut Maker or Cricut Explore Air 2, visit cricut.com/ millions-of-masks and click on the links for the Simplified Face Mask pa ern for the Adult small/ medium face mask. You can cut the fabric pieces required for this project using the Cricut Maker. If you have the Cricut Explore Air 2 machine, you can cut paper or card templates.

3. If using either Cricut machine, you can make changes to this project using the Mat preview screen in Cricut Design Space to move pieces to different mats or change colours. Don’t rotate the pieces, as they’re arranged to follow the fabric grain. Pre-cut the fabric by hand to fit on the mat, paying particular a ention to the direction of the grain for each fabric piece.

4. Before cu„ing your fabric, pre-shrink it by pre-washing it.

5. Seam allowance is 6mm throughout, unless otherwise stated.
