Spirit level

Whether you’re hanging pics, installing shelves or building a house, finding a true horizontal or vertical (called plumb) is essential – and for that you need a spirit level. They mainly range in length from 200mm to 2 metres. A 600mm level is a good start, then, as you tackle bigger jobs, invest in a 1200mm.
