OVERCOME YOUR FEARS
Many experts recommend cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) for dealing with fears. It includes challenging negative thinking, along with exposure therapy, a form of CBT, which pushes you little by little towards your fears. It’s paradoxical, but sometimes the only way to overcome a fear is to go towards it. Treatment involves finding a second voice that can talk back to the fear and say: “Yes, you can stand it. It’s not that bad, and it will only last a short time”.
