SEEING STRIPES
Simple stripes take a ho-hum woven throw from ordinary to extraordinary.
To get this reversible look, use reverse-punched polka dots to accent a diamond pattern of straight punched lines. Simply draw lines connecting opposite corners of your throw to make one large X. Measure and mark edge of throw at the halfway point between each corner and connect the marks, creating one large diamond over the X. Next, secure a section of the throw in a large embroidery hoop. Punch needle each line two to three rows thick. Repeat until all lines are punched. Draw three rows of 2.5cm diameter circles at regular intervals on the right side of the throw. Working with one circle at a time, place the throw in a small embroidery hoop and punch needle. Repeat until each circle is filled. Ta-da!
