IT’S TIME TO GET OUTDOORS
Don’t leave all this spring activity to your flowers. You also need to be active now winter is over.
• Check you hardscaping elements, such as walls, fences, benches and trellises, are in good nick.
• Inspect trees and shrubs for damage from winter winds and storms and clean up wounds where limbs have broken off.
• Divide perennials and transplant shrubs if necessary before the summer growing season begins.
• Plant summer-flowering bulbs, such as lilies and dahlias.
