CHEESEBURGER STEAKS
Preparation time 10 mins Cooking time 6 mins Serves 4 4 x 180g rump steaks Sea-salt flakes and freshly ground black pepper, to season 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil 2 tsp honey 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce Juice of 2 lemons 8 slices burger cheese 4 so white burger buns, halved Leuce leaves 2 tomatoes, sliced / cup gherkins, finely diced / red onion, finely diced 2 cloves garlic, minced / bunch mint, finely chopped Ketchup and yellow mustard, to serve Beer-baered fries, to serve
STEP 1 Use a small sharp knife to pierce steaks all over to tenderise, then season well. Rub with oil. Cook on hot griddle pan for 3 minutes on each side.
STEP 2 Meanwhile, mix honey, Worcestershire and juice; brush onto steaks while cooking. Once steaks are medium, top with 2 cheese slices and set aside to rest while cheese melts.
STEP 3 On bun bases, layer leuce, tomato, steaks (cut in half to fit if needed), gherkin, onion, garlic and mint. Finish with ketchup, mustard and bun tops. Serve with fries.
