GET YOUR CRATES ON!

You can get clever with unassuming timber crates to make a storage-heavy focal point. Start by arranging groups of four crates together in a square to make your modular building blocks. Stack these to make the sides, predrilling and screwing everything together. Make the top section by joining four squares, then cuing 285 x 19mm pine to size to run along the boom. Sit this pine on top of the sides and screw down. Hold your display against the wall using angle brackets going into the wall studs.
