Remove dirt from window tracks

Loosen gunk with a sti bristle brush, then vacuum it up. Sprinkle bicarbonate of soda over any stains (just enough to cover them – no need to go overboard), then spray with vinegar to dampen the bicarb. The two will react and you will notice bubbling as the ingrained dirt is broken down. Scrub the tracks with an old toothbrush, then wipe them down with a clean rag, as needed. When dry, give the tracks a final vacuum.
