Fit the upholstery attachment to your vacuum. Working from top to bottom, start vacuuming – left to right in overlapping strokes. Repeat for the cushions. If your fabric is delicate, set the suction on low. To get into the corners and tight spots around the seats, use the crevice nozzle – you won’t believe what collects there. Spot-clean any stains, following your upholstery cleaner and fabric care instructions. Also dust the underside of your sofa with a flat electrostatic mop.
