If your cholesterol or blood pressure are high, or you’re overweight, have a blood test to check your glucose (blood sugar) level for diabetes. Same if you don’t have these symptoms, but experience increased thirst and hunger, extreme fatigue and frequent urination, as these are early diabetes warning signs. Heart disease in the family is also a prompt for a blood sugar check as it’s o„en linked with diabetes.
