EASY STEPS TO A SIDE PATH

An arbour over a path is a welcome sign. But when the path below is uninspiring, a little creativity is welcome.

Gather your supplies

• Weed matting

• Permeable paving panels

• Spike-bottomed Corten steel edging

• Paving pebbles 20mm

You’ll also need Wheelbarrow; scissors; rubber mallet; metal rake/spreader

Here’s how

STEP 1 Remove old pavers and other debris from pathway.

STEP 2 Lay matting and trim to fit with scissors.

STEP 3 Set paving panels in place along pathway. STEP 4 Line path with steel edging, making it secure with a mallet. STEP 5 Spread pebbles over panels with rake.
