TWO-SHEET WRAP
STEP 1 Repeat Steps 1 and 2 of Pleated wrap with 2 sheets of wrapping paper (a print and a contrast colour) – adjusting the measurements as follows: for printed paper, bottom edge measures 59cm, sides measure 8cm, centre tip is 33.5cm up from centre bottom; for contrast paper, bottom edge measures 59cm, sides measure 6cm and centre mark is 31.5cm up from centre bottom. STEP 2 For each sheet, open out paper and, working from centre fold to sides, use scoring tool to lightly score 2cm lines across paper. With printed paper face down, make 1 more score line to the right of the centre score line. With contrasting paper face up, make 1 more score line right next to centre score line.
PLEATED WRAP
STEP 3 With right side of printed paper face up, make a mountain fold in the centre, then continue on with making valley and mountain folds, accordion style, across paper. Valley fold final scored line next to centre fold. Repeat with contrasting paper, starting with valley fold in the centre.
STEP 4 Matching the folds you’ve made, place the 2 papers on top of each other, wrong sides together, as shown.
STEP 5 With bottom edges even, wrap unfolded ends of both papers around bottle first, then gather folds as one, holding them against bottle, close to the bottom, as shown. You can use glue dots to hold folds in place and to the bottle if it makes it easier. Tie a ribbon around bottle and finish with a bow.
