ABOUT THE FARM

The 28ha Spring Hill Peony Farm is in Victoria’s Central Highlands, an hour’s drive north-west of Melbourne, where the soil and climate are perfect for growing peonies. The farm grows early-, mid- and late-season varieties that it sells to cut-flower markets. From March-april, it also sells bare-root peonies online to the public. When the flowers are blooming from late spring, Spring Hill has a farm-gate shop for fresh-cut peonies, but also invites the public to come in and pick their own, have a picnic, and enjoy the rows and rows of flowering shrubs.
