LOVELY LIP BALM

-

You can make a natural balm to moisturise and protect your lips with just three ingredients – and in just a few minutes. As this balm will be applied to your skin, it is important to use high-quality and organic ingredients. • In a double boiler, or a stainless steel bowl set inside a pot of boiling water, melt 15g organic cocoa bu er refined pellets and 15g white cosmetic beeswax beads. Add 1 tablespoon olive oil and stir thoroughly to combine.

• Remove from heat and, if using an essential oil, let the mixture cool and stir in 1-2 drops of essential oil before it hardens. Pour balm into make-up jars and allow it to set, or use a small funnel to pour into lip balm tubes. TIP You can use sweet almond or jojoba oil instead of olive. Popular essential oils to add include lavender, as well as peppermint (cooling) and cinnamon (warming), which both boost plumpness and circulation.
