GOLD + GLITZ

Layer your Easter decos and edible treats with textured shimmer and gilt, then arrange them on a nest of spun sugar or similar.

FOR THE CRAFT EGGS, coat ceramic or wood eggs with ma acrylic paint and let dry. Decorate each egg with gold-leaf flakes or a thick coat of gli er, le ing the base colour show through and keeping the finish loose and natural. Use gold size as directed on the packaging to a ach the gold leaf. For the gli er, brush Mod Podge on the area to be decorated, dip egg in gli er and let dry.

FOR THE COOKIES, glitz up your iced bickies with gold leaf and edible gli er. For extra glam, arrange in a nest.
