HOW TO CHOOSE APPLES

Apples are part of autumn’s bounty and in Australia are picked from late summer to early winter. This means you can find fresh Aussie-grown apples in supermarkets and greengrocers from February to July, depending on the variety. A fresh apple should feel firm and have taut skin without bruising or soft spots, and a pleasant fruity fragrance.
