We love the truckie life

WE WANTED to know exactly what it is that truckies love about their job.

Is it the freedom, the sound of the rumbling trucks, seeing all there is to see of this beautiful country?

Scott Croshaw said it was the “freedom and the beauty of Australia” that he loved, while Peta Robson-Smith said she loved that she followed her dreams.

For Gary Males it was once the “freedom of the highway in such an awesome piece of machinery” but that he was losing his passion because of all the rules and regulations.

For Dannielle Williams, her dad was her inspiration and Rob Hardy’s was Slim Dusty.
