THE Western Star Trucks Show n Shine is expected to be a great community day out with an impressive line-up of trucks.
Penske Transportation Group International general manager Kim Ruddock said the day would be “jam-packed full of entertainment for all”.
Organisers have announced a host of prizes for participants of the upcoming event on Saturday, November 17 at the Toowoomba Showgrounds.
Prizes will include flights, accommodation, and passes for two people to a Supercars round, Shell fuel gift cards, and more.
Starting at 2pm, the event will include a wide array of entertainment for Western Star customers and their friends and families including a meet and greet with Shell V-Power Racing Supercar drivers Scott McLaughlin and Fabian Coulthard.
Later in the day, fresh back from Nashville,
Australian recording artist and founder of Toowoomba’s own Backroad Bash Music Festival Mick Lindsay will perform.
Award-winning country music star Troy Cassar-Daley will close the event with a twilight performance.
National radio station Kix Country will also broadcast live. Food and drink vendors will be on site and there will be entertainment for children.
Patrons will be asked to make a donation on entry with proceeds going to Rural Aid, a charity organisation that provides assistance to relieve poverty, illness and the distress of people affected by natural disasters.
