Great year for city’s dealership
TOOWOOMBA business DT Truck and Tractor has entered an exciting new season of growth.
Known for its quality products and friendly country service, the family-owned business has been part of Toowoomba’s landscape for over 80 years.
Now recognised as Toowoomba’s Daimler Trucks and New Holland dealer, the truck and tractor dealership has been building momentum since its change of ownership in June.
In addition to their line-up of Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner and Fuso trucks, the business also runs a busy workshop, parts store and smash repair shop to take care of all their customer’s after-sales needs.
This dynamic period of growth has also seen DT Truck and Tractor expand into Gatton, recently being appointed the New Holland Agriculture and Construction dealer for the Toowoomba and Gatton regions.
“New Holland’s range of tractors and machinery are favoured by many farmers in our region,” said dealer principal Cameron O’Hara.
“We knew it was time to invest in the agricultural side of our business.”
DT Truck and Tractor’s new store in Gatton opened earlier this week and it’s been full steam ahead for the team.
That’s not all the business has had to celebrate, with their grand opening last weekend featuring a Big Boys Toys display that included the Freightliner Harley-Davidson Racing rig and over 20 special vehicles from the Toowoomba region.
“We wanted our customers to have a chance to show off their prize vehicles,” Mr O’Hara said.
“It was a great day of connecting with our customers and local community.”
DT Truck and Tractor’s new leaders have undoubtedly been proactive about getting involved in the Toowoomba region, supporting locals like the Toowoomba North Rotary Club and rising sprintcar team GW Racing.
With exciting plans for their future, it seems like this is only the beginning for DT Truck and Tractor.
