Moving moment during convoy
Big crowds greet more than 540 trucks
THE moment Brisbane Convoy for Kids treasurer Leanne Dinning looked at the Redcliffe bridge as the convoy rolled through was one that she’ll never forget.
Leanne said it was an amazing sight to see the streets lined with people cheering the convoy and holding signs that thanked truckies for their hard work.
“It was a very moving moment,” she said.
The Brisbane Convoy for Kids was held in early November and more than 540 trucks took part in the massive Queensland event that also included utes and a motorhome.
Leanne said all those who attended the fun day had a great time, especially those who travelled all the way from across the ditch in New Zealand.
“It was just an amazing day.”
CONVOY FOR KIDS: Hundreds of trucks joined the convoy to support Brisbane Convoy for Kids.
All shined up and ready to rumble.
