Mi­dori’s Trav­eler’sTrav­eler Note­book ($4 ($46.50; jet­pens.com) is not one notepad but a se­ries of cus­tomiz­able in­serts—blank pages,pagesp pages, grid pages­pages, pages, lined pages­pages, pages, etc etc.—— wrapped in a leather cover.

L Leucht­turm 1917 ($19.50; goulet­penss .com): hard to pro­nounce (it’s LOISH-tum) but easy to use, be­cause the pages are num­bered. It t also comes in a bunch of col­ors.
