Baked ap­ples with cit­rus

Prepa­ra­tion: 10 min­utes Cook­ing: 45 min­utes Serves: 4

In­gre­di­ents:

4 Fuji ap­ples, cored 2 tsp or­ange rind 1⁄4 cup or­ange juice 1⁄4 cup sul­tanas 1⁄4 cup raisins 1 tsp cin­na­mon 1 tsp ground car­damom

Method:

Stand ap­ples in an oiled shal­low bak­ing dish with a lid. In a bowl, com­bine or­ange rind, juice, sul­tanas, raisins and spices. Press this mix­ture into the hol­low of each ap­ple. Ar­range ap­ples into the bak­ing dish. Add some water to cover the base of the dish. Cover and bake at 180C for 45 min­utes. Serve warm with a driz­zle of honey.
