Beach’s hat-trick

Ca­ble Beach have con­tin­ued to as­sert dom­i­nance over the com­pe­ti­tion af­ter a third straight vic­tory in round three of the 2018 KAMS WKFL women’s sea­son.

The round kicked off on Fri­day with Ca­ble Beach squar­ing off against the Penin­sula Bombers.

Ca­ble Beach’s strength proved too much for the Bombers and they man­ag­ing a de­ci­sive vic­tory at 96-25.

On Satur­day, the Derby Tigers showed strength on their home turf with a sec­ond straight vic­tory over the Saints.

In a low-scor­ing af­fair, the Tigers tri­umphed 36-22.

A week off due to a post­poned game did not af­fect the Looma Ea­gles’ form as they picked up their sec­ond win of the sea­son over the Bidyadanga Emus, 67-6.

Round four will kick off on Satur­day with Ca­ble Beach tak­ing on the Derby Tigers, the Penin­sula Bombers squar­ing off against the Looma Ea­gles, and the Saints look­ing to pick up a win against the Bidyadanga Emus.
