Saints grab first vic­tory

The Saints have fi­nally gained their first win of the sea­son, leav­ing the Bidyadanga Emus score­less in round 4 of the KAMS WKFL Women’s sea­son.

The round kicked off on Fri­day evening with the Saints tak­ing on the Emus and it was an all-Saints af­fair as they dom­i­nated from start to fin­ish on the field to win 90-0.

On Satur­day Cable Beach be­came one of two un­de­feated sides in the com­pe­ti­tion, in a lows­cor­ing game they de­feated the Derby Tigers 29-8.

The fi­nal game of the round saw the Penin­sula Bombers tak­ing on the reign­ing pre­miers the Looma Ea­gles.

Once again, the Ea­gles proved why they are the team to beat, de­feat­ing the Bombers 54-0.

Round 5 will kick off on Satur­day, fea­tur­ing a mouth­wa­ter­ing top-of-the-ta­ble clash be­tween the Ea­gles and Cable Beach.

The Penin­sula Bombers will take on the Saints and the Derby Tigers will square off against the Bidyadanga Emus.
