Mangia at Mangrove’s slice of Italy

Broome Advertiser - - SOCIAL SCENE - Jakeb Waddell

Ciao, Broome!

A new Italian restaurant swung its doors open recently and special guests were invited to celebrate the momentous occasion.

Located inside the Mangrove Hotel, Johnny Sausage offers diners the full Italian experience — from the authentic food and drinks to the friendly staff and interior decorations.

About 50 guests raised their Peroni beers or glasses of red wine at a cocktail party on May 31 in recognition of its official opening.

Mangrove Hotel general manager Glyn Batten told attendees on the night he was very excited to be opening and that “nothing happens by accident”.
