Dirty Dozen bounce back

De­spite hav­ing their un­de­feated streak bro­ken by Roe­buck in round 12, the Dirty Dozen have bounced back with a win over Man­grove last Satur­day.

Man­grove took to the crease first af­ter the Dozen elected to field first, lead­ing to sev­eral early ex­its thanks to wick­ets taken by An­gus Boult-Lyne, Lach­lan Poul­ter, Casey Zep­nick and An­drew Black­ley.

Af­ter the 35 overs al­lot­ted, Man­grove amassed 9-116, with Far­ley Mur­ton the big­gest con­trib­u­tor with a well-com­piled 41 not out.

The Dozen were clearly back in fir­ing form, sur­pass­ing Man­grove to reach 2-118 in just 17.5 overs.

Open­ing bats­men Boult-Lyne and Har­vey Poole were dy­namic duo of the day.

The pair man­aged 102 runs be­tween them.
