There’s no better way to celebrate the Christmas season in Broome than by making a splash. Pictured are Reeva Hester, 2, and Synarah Cheinmora, 10, two of 500 children who had a fun-filled Saturday at the Spirit and RedFM Kids Christmas Party.
It may be the most wonderful time of the year, but it’s best enjoyed from the pool when living in the Kimberley.
More than 700 people made a splash at Broome Recreation and Aquatic Centre on Saturday for the Spirit and RedFM Kids’ Christmas Party in celebration of the festive season.
Families were treated to live dances and performances, face painting, fairy floss, popcorn, bouncy castles and inflatable obstacles among other fun and games. Of course it would not be Christmas without a visit from Santa Claus, and the big man from the North Pole certainly delivered, taking the time to talk with the hundreds in attendance, before handing out goody bags to take home.
