Joyful carols

Broome Advertiser - - OPINION - Bishop Christopher Saunders Catholic Diocese of Broome

The Community Christmas Carols held on Male Oval in Broome recently were well attended and much appreciated.

They revealed fittingly the wonder of the mystery that is Christmas and the great joy there is in the beautiful words of so many of the carols we sang so well.

The ever-present theme that we celebrate at this time of year is one of gratitude, unity and peace.

The thankfulness of humanity for the coming of Jesus was clear in the words of Silent Night and other songs, leaving us in the hope of a peace-filled time.

I wish you, your family and our world God’s choicest blessings this holy hopeful Christmas season.
