SINGAPORE Wyndham Hotel Group has debuted its Ramada brand in Singapore with the opening of the Ramada Singapore. It has 384 rooms and includes a restaurant, fitness centre, swimming pool, business centre and ballroom for events. SOUTH KOREA Hyatt has announced that it will open Hyatt Place Seoul in 2016. This property will join three existing Hyatt-brand hotels in the Korean capital: Park Hyatt Seoul, Grand Hyatt Seoul and Hyatt Regency Incheon.

The hotel will be situated in Dongdaemun and have 204 guestrooms, a range of meeting facilities, a fitness centre, a restaurant and a bar. www.place.hyatt.com

UNITED ARAB EMIRATES Oberoi opened its first hotel in the United Arab Emirates today.

The luxury Oberoi, Dubai has 252 rooms and offers views of the tallest building in the world, the iconic Burj Khalifa. UNITED KINGDOM The Corinthia Hotel London has announced that it has installed UnionPay – China’s dominant credit and debit card system – to cater to the large Chinese travel market.
