Accor-Ambassador Korea has celebrated the opening of the new IBIS STYLES AMBASSADOR SEOUL MYEONGDONG. The 180-room property is located minutes from Myeongdong Station, Myeongdong shopping district, Cheonggyec­heon Stream and the N Seoul Tower. Thailand-based real estate developer Grand Canal Land has appointed New World Hotels & Resorts to manage the NEW WORLD GRAND RAMA 9, BANGKOK HOTEL when it opens in mid-2017. The LANGHAM, SYDNEY has re-opened its doors following a renovation programme that spanned from August to December 2014. JIN JIANG INTERNATIO­NAL has acquired Starwood Capital’s Louvre Hotels, the secondlarg­est hospitalit­y group in Europe after Accor, for a reported 1.3 billion. SOUTH KOREA LOTTE GROUP will open a new luxury hotel in St Petersburg in 2017, representi­ng a US$140 million investment. ANANTARA SIAM BANGKOK has opened its doors in the former Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok property. Worldhotel­s has added a new Hong Kong property to its growing network. Located in Hung Hom, the 388-room HOTEL SÁV features a business centre and three function rooms, the largest of which can host 35 guests. SHILLA STAY JEJU has opened in a central location in Jeju City, a ten-minute drive from Jeju Internatio­nal Airport. JW Marriott Hotels & Resorts continues to expand its Chinese presence with the opening of the new 501-room JW MARRIOTT HOTEL SHANGHAI CHANGFENG. SIX SENSES HOTELS RESORTS SPAS is developing a new resort property in Uluwatu, southwest Bali, which is a 35-minute drive from Ngurah Rai Internatio­nal Airport. Regal Hotels Internatio­nal’s new property, REGAL AIRPORT HOTEL, XI’AN, is the only hotel directly connected to Xi’an Xianyang Internatio­nal Airport Terminal 3. MANDARIN ORIENTAL, MARRAKECH is expected to begin operations from June 18, with the hotel already accepting bookings ahead of its grand opening. INTERCONTI­NENTAL DUBAI MARINA will open its doors this May. The 328-room property is part of the Bay Central developmen­t, and is situated close to the new Dubai Tram that links to the Dubai Metro.
