ALL HAIL THE QUEEN

AUCKLAND’S foodie scene just got a boost with the June opening of a new laneway-style dining precinct, Queen’s Rise, located at 125 Queen Street in the city’s central business district.

Eleven of the city’s top independent hospitality specialists and restaurateurs have come together to fill the new district with a medley of F&B options. These range from the Turkish-inspired Ottoman Mezze Lounge, focusing on shared plates, craft beer and boutique whiskies, to Donburi eatery Tokyo Loco Bowl and affordable dining venue Grace, which will have a centrepiece theatre kitchen. Italian, Cantonese dim sum, poke and even a speciality potato-focused eatery are available.
