Air Bel­gium is set to launch three new routes to China by Novem­ber, in­clud­ing Taiyuan, Zhengzhou and Wuhan.

Cathay Dragon is open­ing a new route to Ja­pan on De­cem­ber 19, with a twice-weekly ser­vice to Tokushima on Shikoku Is­land.

China Eastern be­gan fly­ing non-stop be­tween Shang­hai and Dubai last month, adding to its ex­ist­ing ser­vices via Kun­ming.

Qatar Air­ways will fly non-stop to Danang start­ing De­cem­ber 19. This is its third des­ti­na­tion in Viet­nam, join­ing cur­rent ser­vices to Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi.

Turk­ish Air­lines has sep­a­rated its Ho Chi Minh City/Hanoi ser­vice into two in­di­vid­ual ser­vices, each fly­ing non-stop to and from Is­tan­bul.


Amer­i­can Air­lines is say­ing good­bye to non-stop flights be­tween Chicago and Shang­hai on Oc­to­ber 26, its sec­ond China ser­vice to get the axe this month fol­low­ing the ces­sa­tion of Chicago-Bei­jing on Oc­to­ber 20.

ANA is tem­po­rar­ily drop­ping its Osaka-Hong Kong route this win­ter, with flights sus­pended from Oc­to­ber 28, 2018 un­til Fe­bru­ary 24, 2019.

Garuda In­done­sia will no longer of­fer non-stop flights be­tween Jakarta and Lon­don as of Oc­to­ber 28, in­stead switch­ing to one-stop of­fer­ings via Am­s­ter­dam.
