Few hotel locations are as coveted as the Kowloon harbourfront in Hong Kong, and the Gateway Hotel from Wharf Hotels takes full advantage of its stellar position.

Located at the junction of Canton Road and Haiphong Road in Tsim Sha Tsui, Gateway Hotel is a short walk from the city's famous Star Ferry and enjoys excellent connectivity via the nearby MTR subway station and bus terminal. Meanwhile its position within Harbour City – Hong Kong’s largest shopping complex – makes the hotel the ultimate place for modern, comfortable accommodation and a truly memorable shopping experience.

It's not just what's around the property that is impressive – the Gateway Hotel's own design and offerings are first class and soon it will introduce a comprehensive, award-winning redesign to its uppermost Continental Club floor.

“There is a high demand in the core commercial, shopping and entertainment district of Tsim Sha Tsui for a superior level of hospitality,” explained Dalip Singh, General Manager of Marco Polo Hotels – Hong Kong.

“To meet these needs, we transformed the entire top floor of the hotel to offer the finest accommodation with our signature welcoming hospitality that makes our discerning guests feel like they have come home.”

The centrepiece of the hotel’s top floor is the Continental Club Lounge on the 15th floor, which evokes a sense of modern simplicity with a subtle touch of Eastern sophstication. The experience extends beyond that of a standard business lounge, instead offering a social and networking haven with exclusive privileges including complimentary daily breakfast, afternoon tea, evening cocktails and all-day refreshments. Private check-in and checkout is also available for all Continental Club floor patrons.

Alongside the lounge, Gateway Hotel also gave a facelift to its guestrooms and suites on the 17th floor – each of which offers vibrant city views over bustling Canton Road – and now all rooms throughout the hotel are equipped with a Handy smartphone providing complimentary local and international calls to 10 regions, as well as wifi, a range of deluxe amenities and daily replenishment of the complimentary minibar.

Tea and a Nespresso coffee machine with a selection of complimentary coffee are also provided in all rooms, while all suites offer an invigorating rainfall shower and separate bathtub in luxurious marble bathrooms.

Gateway Hotel also offers a gourmet destination at Three on Canton. Guests can experience a tempting selection of the world’s most popular cuisines, enjoy the ambience at the lounge and bar, unwind at Be on Canton – the alfresco terrace with a stylish modern edge – or throw private parties in the wine room and four exclusive function rooms.

Other leisure facilities include a swimming pool at the Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel and use of the 24-hour gym at Prince Hotel.
