It’s not easy to find space in Hong Kong, especially one that takes full advantage of the city’s world-famous skyline. For delegates of corporate events, the chance to drink in views of Hong Kong’s unmatched cityscape can often be a standout experience of a trip, and there are few ways to better provide them this opportunity than over an exclusive event atop one of the city’s towering skyscrapers.

Situated on the 31st floor of The Hennessy in Hong Kong’s vibrant Wan Chai district, Wooloomooloo Steakhouse offers panoramic, 270-degree views that encompass Happy Valley, Victoria Harbour and the downtown Wan Chai metropolitan district. The restaurant’s floor-to-ceiling windows ensure views are unobstructed and visible from all parts of the venue, though to truly take advantage of the setting there are more private options available.

For large groups of between 70 to 82, the dining room on the 31st floor is the ideal choice, while smaller groups of up to 15 can enjoy a meal from the restaurant’s semi-private room. The piece de resistance, however, has to be the venue’s rooftop, which is perfect for cocktail events for between 80 and 100 people.

But it’s not just the restaurant’s views that are worth writing home about. Wooloomooloo Steakhouse serves some

of the finest cuts of meat from Australia and the US in the city, from its signature Australian Black Angus Beef to the more delicate steak tartare. For those looking for a taste of the sea, the restaurant also offers an extensive list of seafood dishes, including the famed Wooloomooloo crab cake and broiled sea scallops.

Event-goers based across the harbour don’t need to relocate all the way to Hong Kong Island just to experience the restaurant’s top-class menu, however. Wooloomooloo Steakhouse also has a presence in Kowloon in the heart of the city’s Tsim Sha Tsui district.

Here, guests can experience live music within an elegant dining atmosphere while also taking advantage of the outdoor waterfront promenade that offers incredible views right across the harbour. Dishes are served from the restaurant’s open kitchen where jet-fresh seafood, signature steaks, pasta and homemade pizza are all prepared in full view of diners.

For event organisers, group seating options are available to take advantage of the city’s skyline and trendy ambiance. The dining room on the 1st floor caters for between 67 and 75 people, while the semi-private room is ideal for small groups of up to eight. Groups desiring a more interactive meal can enjoy the open-kitchen area (suitable for up to 32 people) or the bar (up to 30 people), and those looking to get the best views of the Hong Kong skyline can sit outdoors in the al fresco dining area (up to 40 people).

Whether it’s on Hong Kong Island or in the bustling heart of the Kowloon province, both Wooloomooloo’s Wan Chai and Tsim Sha Tsui branches offer a prime venue for corporate events that allow delegates to enjoy unrivalled views of the city.
