PHILIPPINE AIRLINES REQUIRES FACE SHIELDS

-

IN AUGUST, Philippine Airlines began requiring all passengers to wear face shields, on top of the mandatory face masks, on all flights. The new measure is in line with the latest guidelines for the public transport sector from the Philippines’ Department of Transportation.

The airline said face shields will not be provided by the airline and passengers must bring their own. The airline is also requiring all of its cabin crew to wear full PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) during flights. Additionally, it is conducting temperature checks on passengers, increasing the number of hand sanitisers in-flight, and installing protective barriers at airports and ticket information counters. philippineairlines.com
