Marriott opens new hotel in Shanghai

-

MARRIOTT INTERNATIONAL opened a new hotel in Shanghai in September, marking the company’s seventh Marriott property in the Chinese city.

Shanghai Marriott Hotel Pudong South features 241 guestrooms, and Marriott says the 33 Premier rooms and six Executive rooms offer expansive views of the city landscape with large windows on two sides.

The hotel features three dining venues: the all-day restaurant Goji Kitchen Bar with live cooking stations, seafood and a range of Western and Asian dishes; Man Ho Chinese Restaurant, which offers a Cantonese culinary experience; and Smoki Moto, a speciality East Asian restaurant with Korean barbecue and gourmet sushi.

The company says the hotel is a 25-minute drive from Shanghai Pudong International Airport, while downtown Shanghai and Xinchang Ancient Town are both a 30-minute drive away.
