Miss the market

Sunshine Coast Daily - Caloundra Weekly - - NEWS -

WHAT was anyone thinking to change the layout of the market in Caloundra.

I love attending the market most Sunday mornings and was horrified to see last Sunday the new crazy layout of the street.

I had my elderly sister-in-law with me who uses a walking frame and twice she tripped on the curb to step down from the footpath to road level to purchase and look at the stalls.

The atmosphere was terrible and everyone was complaining, including young mums with strollers negotiating the curb.

We could only do one side of the market which was a shame as it’s too much to have to walk both directions.

Please organisers have the maturity to admit a mistake and revert back to a true market or fair immediately.
