Aussie World brings the festive cheer with Christmas Spectacular:
ON THE eve of Christmas Eve, Aussie World is preparing to ignite the night with a fun filled event for the whole family.
Aussie World Chief Operating Officer Aaron Flanagan said the December 23 Christmas Spectacular was one of the theme parks most popular events of the year.
“Attendance at this event keeps growing every year and we are quite confident that there is no other celebration on the Sunshine Coast where guests can meet Santa and Mrs Claus or come face to face with Christmas characters,” Mr Flanagan said.
“There’s also snow, pyrotechnics, laser-shows, a musical fireworks display, Christmas lights, two showings of a Christmas musical Mrs Claus, The Night Before Christmas and live entertainment, plus full access to all of the rides and attractions.”
He said Aussie World has
held a number of night time events this year and guests are really embracing the idea of spending the evening being entertained at the theme park.
“There is no doubt that the theme park takes on a whole new atmosphere at night, people really love the fact that they can knock off work and enjoy a relaxing and safe night of fun at Aussie World,” he said.
Gates open at 5.30pm until 9.30pm, with tickets starting at just $26 for concession holders.
