Action-packed comedy bound to delight
INSPIRED by slapstick legends Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplin, the side-splitting duo of Chores is coming to Lake Kawana Community Centre during the January school holidays for two shows only on January 17.
Chores is a hilarious and action-packed show about two excitable brothers playing in their very messy bedroom.
A generous serve of comedy and chaotic acrobatics accompanies every attempt at cleaning their room and doing their chores.
This mess of chaos and comedy concludes with a last-minute cleaning spree.
Mum is kept at bay and the rewards come flooding in.
With highlights of skilled circus stunts and uproarious, interactive gags, and with very little spoken dialogue, the audience will find themselves on the edge of their seats and giggling until the chores are done.
Chores is brought to you by Patrick Heilmann and Julian Roberts, the performers from The Leaping Loonies and Hoopla Clique.
With more than 20 years of collective experience, the exuberant talent of these two clowns redefines slapstick humour and showcases the true value of tenacity, teamwork, trust and cooperation through physical theatre.
This is a great holiday show for the whole family and is suitable for ages two and over.
Performances will be held at 10am and 12.30pm.
The show goes for approximately 50 minutes.
Tickets are $15 per person and for a group of four (minimum two children) just $55.
For individual or group bookings, phone Lake Kawana Community Centre on 5413 1400 or visit the website scvenuesandevents.com.au.
